The
Mirador (viewpoint) seating on the Casa Gallo second level has traditional colonial home wicker rocking chairs.
It overlooks the pool and central garden, with a view of Mombacho Volcano. To the right are the doors to El Jardin Secreto,
the Secret Garden, which has a covered patio, chairs, hammock, and an area of lawn and banana, lime, orange, avocado, and
mango trees and a huge tamarindo tree. The 10 ' walls surrounding te Secret Garden are covered with bogainvillea.

from Dining Area. In the center of the photo, beyond the pool is the door to the "blue bedroom" and the double
doors to the small patio and garden of that bedroom. The window to the right is the employee bedroom/bathroom, used
by Jose and Miurel during the day, and Jose at night when there are no guests or guests are away to the beach or other places
such as Omotepe or Selva Negra.

Typical
colonial home central garden area with shady royal palms, gardenias, moss rose, bougainvillea, etc., and a lovely fountain
to enhance your relaxation and peace of mind at Casa Gallo.

to Corner (Blue) Bedroom. Note the ceramic encrusted fish and turtle at the edge of the pool made by Vanita. They
are a bit hard to see. There are ceramics classes in town which guests can attend, and are on a more informal basis
that formal basis, so if one is in town for only a short time, it is still possible to produce your own ceramic artwork!

View
toward front of Casa Gallo. The open door beyond the pool is the entrance to the middle bedroom that has two twin beds.
This part of Casa Gallo is original construction, as is the entire front major part of the house. Casa Gallo was not
originally conceived as just a vacation rental, but as a home that would exemplify the traditional construction and furnishings
of an old colonal home, one that has been restored to its original condition, yet thoroughly modernized, for after all, we
come to stay at Casa Gallo for the amenities and colonial atmosphere as well, and take great pride in being able to have others
share our enjoyment.

TV
Room - we have made it comfortable with new wicker furniture from Masatepe, the little town 30 minutes away known for its
small furniture factories, often just a family or carpenter force of no more than a half dozen. There is a ceiling
fan and remote controlled a/c, and of course cable TV and DVD player for Casa Gallo guests to enjoy. Note the
original floor tile that we were able to save during restoration - it is quite rare and unique. The ceramic decorative
plates are from the ceramics town of San Juan del Oriente. All this combines to what we hope makes Casa Gallo
the ultimate in Granada vacation rentals!
