Romantic Tropical Evenings at Casa Gallo, which can be your vacation rental home in Granada.  lights, lights, lights.  The arches in the mirador or balcony are lighted, the gazebo has accent lights, sconces all around the interior of the house give a tropical glow, and the in-pool light adds to the romantic feel.

Looking from the second level mirador south over the front tiled roof to the Mombacho Volcano. The mirador is about 200 square feet, with rocking chairs and comfortable "marimba" chairs. It overlooks the pool and courtyard.  This is a favorite place to enjoy that first cup of coffee in the morning.  A door from the rear of the mirador opens to the Secrret Garden (El Jardin SEcreto).

Kitchen.jpg

The kitchen is open, which is typical in Granada.  If you are worried about bugs, forget it.  There just aren't many bugs in Granada.  This is a full kitchen, with gas propane stove, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender, pots, pans, utensils, flatware and dinnerware, in other words, the full kitchen you would have in your own home.  A kitchen bar is to the right with four stools.  On the bar, next to the wall, is a stereo/cd system, and cd's are in the cabinet above (to the right of the fridge).  To the right of the bar is an antique serving table, and to the right of that the dining table with 6 chairs.  The dining table, an antique also, expands to seat 10 or 12.  There are ceiling fans in the kitchen and dining area (in fact, Casa Gallo has 19 total ceiling fans!).  Like help preparing meals, or someone to do it for you?  That can be arranged.

This  corner Bedroom is one of three in the Casa Gallo rental  home.  This bedroom is in the  very back  of the vacation rental Casa Gallo which is new construction, though the interior walls are all original.  We call this bedroom the "blue bedroom", as all the floor tile is a light blue ceramic tile, and the bed, night tables, and desk and dresser are a matching blue.  There is a large closet, attached full bathroom, and double doors that lead to a small patio and garden.  As in all of the interior of the house (except the sala and large front bedroom) the ceiling is exposed heavy beams and varnished cane.
