Sala or living
room. This is the formal entrance to our colonial home vacation rental, though we generally use the entrance next to the garage
doors. We have furnished this room in a very traditional style, with colonial style carved wooden furniture (to the
right out of sight in this picture) and the antique table and mirror. This room hosts the DSL internet connection.
Sconce lights, antique-finish floor lamps, heavy antique storage chests (out of sight in this picture) give this
room the aura of the early colonial days of Granada.

Traditional
colonial seating area of wicker rocking chairs facing the garden. The window to the left is to the sala, to the right
the large front bedroom. As one strolls down the calles of Granada and peers into the old colonial homes through the
generally open tall wooden doors, you will see this type of seating area within, comortable rockers occupied by the family
chatting over the day's activities. Often these rockers will be brought out on the sidewalk in the early evening, where
the family is greeted by friends as they stroll by.

Facade
of the old colonial home in Granada, restored in true colonial style but with modern conveniences such as a swimming pool,
a/c, etc. Casa Gallo, on a quiet street yet only four blocks from the Central Park, has been judged one of the
best vacation rental homes in Granada. To the right, 1/2 block, on the corner of our street and Calle Atravesada,
the principal North-South street in Granada, is the Ixchen Clinic. Directions to Casa Gallo are given as
media cuadra oeste de Ixchen, or 1/2 block west of the Ixchen Clinic. Though Casa Gallo has the number 204, the correct
street name seems to be in dispute!

Middle
bedroom with two twin beds. This bedroom has a full bathroom, closet to the left out of sight in this photo, lighted
overhead fan, remote controlled air conditioner (like all the bedrooms and TV room, the compressors for the air conditioners
are remotely located, and only the wall mounted outlets are in the rooms. The windows and double doors look out
upon the central garden.
