Casa Gallo is
an old colonial home in Granada, Nicaragua,4 blocks from the Central Park, in a quiet area of large colonial homes. This 5,330
square foot house was restored and modernized in 2004 to serve as a delightful vacation rental home. It has been judged one
of the top three vacation rental homes in Granada! There are
3 bedrooms (one 20' x 20' x 15' high), 3 bathrooms, dining area, kitchen, a large living room or sala (20' x 20'x 18'high),a
TV/Library, with all rooms fronting on the large interior courtyard. A small pool, gazebo and fountain are in the central
garden area. A wrought iron table and four chairs dominate the center of the gazebo. There are two distinct seating
areas in the interior courtyard in addition to the dining area, kitchen bar, and gazebo seating. The home has been furnished
in colonial style, with antiques and replicas. There is an employee room and bath. To the rear of the home are stairs to a
2nd level balcony or mirador with roof, with seating facing Mombacho Volcano. This old Granada Colonial home also has a garage.
All bedrooms have bathrooms with hot water showers and split compressor air conditioners with individual remote control, as
well as ceiling fans. Two bedrooms have queen beds and cable TV, the third has twin beds. There is a laundry room with washer
& dryer. Our housekeeprer will wash clothes and iron upon request. A conventional phone is installed and may be
used with a phone deposit. Two cellular phones are made available for guests`use. We just ask that you pay for the time
cards you use. Our staff will help you with this. A high speed internet connection is installed for our guests'
use. An additional walled garden area (El Jardin Secreto/The
Secret Garden)of 2,300 square feet with fruit trees, banana plants, bougainvillea and lawn is entered through a door at the
rear of the mirador into a large covered patio. Total Casa Gallo area is 8,600 square feet including gardens. The gardener/guard,
José, and the housekeeper, Miurel, work 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. M-F or till work is done. José works
Saturday morning, Miurel Sunday morning. José will stay overnight when guests at our Granada rental home want to have
an overnight at the beach or elsewhere, such as the Selva Negra Coffee Plantation. Casa Gallo has an automatic standby water system of 750 liters, and two battery-inverter standby electrical
systems that provide essential 110 volt power for much of the house. Rental rates are: $100-$150/night (3 night minimum) $650-$950 per week, $2600-$3000
per month, utilities included. Deposits will be required, with full payment prior to arrival or cash upon arrival. Maximum
of six guests, no long term rentals. We have a property manager who will assist you when you arrive in Granada. Frank and
